The newly modified Liebherr 43 R4 XXT truck-mounted concrete pump displays its many advantages at the CTT in Moscow. The four-section distributor boom of roll-folding pattern is especially torsionally rigid and permits a low-vibration boom on the construction site. The concrete pipe is routed on the left and right close to the boom for a balanced weight distribution. The elbows of the concrete pipe have a radius of 275 mm to keep pressure loss small. To minimise the need to maintain stocks of different wearing parts, Liebherr uses primarily pipe elbows of the same type.

The machine on display is equipped with the powerful 140H high-pressure pump unit with a maximum delivery volume of 138 m³/h. Alternatively, the machine is also available with the more powerful 170HL version. This long-stroke version, with pump cylinders 2,400 mm in length, delivers 163 m³/h.

A special highlight is the patented XXT outrigging, which is only available on the market from Liebherr. The front and rear support arms are attached directly to the mast bracket of the distributor boom so that the forces are transferred from the boom directly to the supports without taking unnecessary turns. The four pivoting support arms provide for maximum flexibility and give the distributor boom a larger slewing range with narrow outrigging. This can be a decisive advantage, especially on construction sites with restricted access.
