The JCB 3D Mk II was introduced in 1967, and was based around the BMC Nuffield 10/60 skid unit. HTU 589K is the registration of JC Balls’ example that dates from 1971-72, and wears the yellow and white livery that was applied to JCB backhoes at the time.
