FORT MILL, S.C. – August 8, 2016 – Western Star Truck Sales, Inc., is hitting the silver screen once again. Paramount Pictures’ upcoming “Transformers: The Last Knight” will feature the heroic Optimus Prime based off the new Western Star 5700XE truck model. Directed by Michael Bay, “Transformers: The Last Knight” is the latest film in the global blockbuster franchise and is scheduled for release in June 2017.

Developed specially for the Transformers film series, the Optimus Prime truck incorporates the distinctive styling found on the 5700XE. Western Star’s most aerodynamic truck, the 5700XE is tough and powerful, making it the natural choice to portray the leader of the heroic Autobots.

“Transformers: The Last Knight” opens in theaters on June 23, 2017 in North America.
