A special one-off model for Japan was built alongside with "Zéda" to pay tribute GranTurismo's end of production. It was announced by Maserati Japan Co., Ltd. only in february 2020 but was actually built in 2019. The exterior is painted in bicolor of Bianco Fuji and Rosso Italiano to reminiscent the Japanese flag and as a symbol of connection between Japan and Italy.
Developed exclusively for this market from the last manufacturing run, just 23 "Edizione V8 Aspirato" models were made for Australia and New Zealand to commemorate one of the last naturally-aspirated V8 engines in the segment. Five unique heritage paint colours were available on the "Edizione V8 Aspirato": Blu Corse, Blue Sera, Argento Auteuil, Verde Britannia and Celeste Chiaro (in addition to the existing Nero Carbonio and Rosso Italiano). These heritage colour schemes can be further personalised with the customer’s choice of brake caliper and alloy wheel combinations, making each "Edizione V8 Aspirato" truly unique.
