The first conversion took place in 1986 based on the Volkswagen T3. The successful models were called the HD 60 and HD 80. They were available with an elegantly designed Sirius high roof made of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP). From 1986 to 1990, la strada built 73 of these models.
